Shipping Policy
DOMESTIC SHIPPING ONLY
We currently ship to addresses within New Zealand only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
PROCESSING TIMES
Orders are processed within edit: e.g. 1–3 business days of payment being received. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
During busy periods (such as sale events or the lead-up to Christmas), processing times may be longer. We will notify you by email if there is a significant delay.
HOW WE PACK YOUR ORDER
All ceramic and fragile items are packed with care to minimise the risk of damage in transit. Our standard packaging includes:
Individual wrapping of each item in bubble wrap or foam
Void fill (packing paper or foam peanuts) to prevent movement inside the box
Double-walled cardboard boxes for added protection
"Fragile" labelling on all outer packaging
Despite our best efforts, damage can occasionally occur during transit. Please see our damaged items policy below for what to do if your order arrives broken.

Delivery times are estimates provided by our courier partner and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur during peak periods or due to factors outside our control.
FRAGILE ITEM HANDLING
All orders containing ceramics or other fragile goods are sent via a tracked courier service. We do not use standard untracked post for fragile items.
We recommend selecting a delivery address where someone will be available to receive the parcel in person. Leaving fragile parcels unattended increases the risk of damage or theft, and we are unable to accept liability for items lost or damaged after an unattended delivery has been made at your request.
If you have specific handling concerns (for example, a particularly large or valuable piece), please contact us before placing your order at rosyndrich@gmail.com and we can discuss packaging and courier options.
RURAL DELIVERY
Deliveries to rural addresses GoSweetspot may take additional time and incur an extra rural delivery fee. If your address is rural, this will be calculated at checkout.
If you are unsure whether your address is classified as rural, you can check using the NZ Post rural delivery checker at nzpost.co.nz.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this to track your delivery via the GoSweetspot website - https://track.gosweetspot.com/.
If you have not received a tracking email within edit: e.g. 3 business days of placing your order, please check your spam folder or contact us at edit: your contact email.
DELIVERY ADDRESS
Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of placing your order. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
We are unable to redirect parcels once they have been dispatched. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional shipping charges may apply.
LOST OR DAMAGED PARCELS
If your order arrives damaged, or does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible rosyndrich@gmail.com so we can investigate with our courier partner.
Please keep all packaging if your item arrives damaged, as we may need to provide this as evidence for a courier claim.
Our liability for lost or damaged parcels is limited to the value of the goods ordered. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund where a courier claim is upheld.
PO BOXES
We are unable to deliver fragile items to PO boxes, as courier services cannot guarantee safe handling to these addresses. Please provide a physical delivery address at checkout.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless an item is faulty or was sent in error. For information about returns, please see our returns policy.
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to a remedy if goods are not of acceptable quality or are not fit for purpose. This does not affect your statutory rights.
