Whangārei Heads Art Trail 2025

Smugglers Pottery – Limited Edition ‘25 Collection
Available Easter Weekend – Saturday & Sunday, 10am–5pm
63 Urquharts Bay – Whangārei Heads Arts Trail 2025

Set sail for the Whangārei Heads Arts Trail this Easter and discover our Smugglers Pottery – a special collection of hand-thrown tableware inspired by the local legend of Smugglers Cove, where traders once buried contraband (mostly whisky!) to dodge customs.

This year’s ‘25’ collection features a mix of blue and white hand-decorated terracotta and stamped stoneware pottery that was fired in Little Gassy, our gas kiln tucked away at Urquharts Bay. Each piece is unique, small-batch, and packed with character – no two the same, just like the smugglers themselves.

Come find us, swap your gold (or card) for treasure, and take home a little piece of Northland folklore – no digging necessary.

CA$H or bank transfers only.
